How it works

You pick a collection, set a minimum spend amount, and choose a discount percentage. When a customer's subtotal for items in that collection reaches the threshold, the discount applies to all items from that collection automatically.

The customer sees the savings appear at checkout as soon as they cross the threshold. No discount code needed โ€” it just happens. And only items from the target collection count toward the threshold and receive the discount.

Why this is better than Shopify's native options

Shopify does let you create a "minimum purchase amount" discount, but it applies to the entire cart โ€” not a specific collection. So if you want "spend $150 on the designer collection," Shopify can't do that. A customer could buy $150 of random items and qualify, which defeats the purpose.
